A Cameroonian footballer Jean Marie Dongou Tsafack acts as a forward for Barcelona B. He was born on 22 April 1995 in Douala. He’s famous for clinical finishing and quick feet.
Jean Marie started his junior career at the Samuel Eto’o Foundation. He became one of the academy’s best players, which gave him an opportunity to move to Spain. In 2008, when he was 13, the forward was selected for the youth team of Barcelona. After joining the Spanish club, Dongou started new wonderful stage of his playing career. He started with playing for U-15 team. His diligence and talent earned him a reputation of a very promising player. He was groomed during the 4 years at the club’s academy, where he completed his formation.
In January 2012, Jean Marie earned the promotion to Barcelona’s reserve team. On 28 January 2012, the forward made his Second Division debut in a match with SD Huesca. His debut goal was scored on 25 March in a game against CD Alcoyano. The footballer has already featured in more than 20 matches for the B squad.
In 2012, Dongou earned his first invitation to represent the Cameroon national youth team at U-20 level. Whilst playing for the squad, he gained his first honors. In 2012, he was named the Cameroon Player of the year and was awarded with the title of the Top scorer of the NextGen Series.
