A French footballer Jean-Sylvain Claude Babin performs as a central defender for AD Alcorcón. Jean-Sylvain was born on 14 October 1986 in Corbeil-Essonnes, Essonne.
Babin’s junior career passed at the youth department of Châteauroux. He came through almost all the ranks of the club’s youth system and was ready to perform on a senior level. In 2003, after finishing his formation, Jean-Sylvain was selected for the B team of Châteauroux. The defender spent three years with the reserves producing a very good performance.
In 2004, Babin got his first opportunity on the club’s main squad. In 2006, the footballer was promoted to the first team. The 2006/2007 season was lined with 22 appearances made. In 2007, Jean-Sylvain was loaned out by Martigues. The player featured in 32 club’s fixtures during the spell.
In 2008, a move to Lucena happened. Babin spent two seasons with the squad. That time turned to be very productive for the player, as he made quite frequent appearances for the first team. The spell was lined with five goals racked up in 54 matches. In the summer 2010, a deal was finalized with Alcorcón. The defender joined the squad and started performing in the Spanish second division. He, immediately, got a place in the starting eleven. The first two seasons were lined with 68 appearances made and five balls netted.
