Jelle Vossen

Jelle Vossen is a striker of Belgian football club Genk and the Belgian national team. Jelle was born on 22 March 1989 in Bilzen, Belgium.

In 2005 Jelle joined KRC Genk which became the last stage of his youth career. In 2007 the footballer progressed to the club’s senior team.

In his debut Belgian championship, Vossen kicked 1 goal and made 8 outings. The following seasons were more successful and he regularly appeared on the pitch. However, in August 2009, Jelle was sent on loan to Cercle Brugge, where he showed good results.

In the summer of 2010, the Belgian striker returned to RC Genk.

Vossen made his senior international debut on 29 May 2009 in the Kirin Cup. On 12 October 2010, Jelle fired his debut goal in a match versus Austria.
