Jeong Dong-Ho is a defender of Hangzhou Greentown. He was born on 7 March 1990 in Busan, South Korea.
In 2006 Jeong Dong-Ho started his junior career at the academy of Bookyung High School. The footballer gained his first and very important experience playing for one of the youth teams of the academy. During two years and a half Jeong Dong-Ho became a promising footballer of the defense line.
In 2008 Jeong Dong-Ho finished his football formation at the academy of Bookyung High School. The defender was offered to join different South Korean and Japanese clubs. Jeong opted for Japanese side Yokohama F. Marinos with which he penned his first professional contract in 2009.
Jeong Dong-Ho was unable to cement a starting XI position; however he gained playing experience during training sessions together with the first team. In 2011 Jeong was given an opportunity to show his worth in the starting XI of Gainare Tottori where he was farmed out for a season.
During one season Jeong Dong-Ho netted once in 25 matches for his temporary club. In 2012 the footballer was sent on loan to Hangzhou Greentown which plays in the Chinese Super League. Jeong has already taken part in more than 25 games for this club.
From 2008 to 2009 Jeong Dong-Ho was capped 6 times for the South Korea national U-20 team. Since 2009 he has been called up 4 times to the South Korea national U-23 team.
