Jérémy Toulalan plays as a defensive midfielder for AS Monaco and the national team of France.
This footballer was brought up by the Nantes football academy. He appeared on the pitch for the first time in the season 2001/02. There Jérémy steadily grew up as a professional and then was awarded the best young player of the championship. In 2007 he moved to Lyon where he was meant to replace Mahamadou Diarra who had left for Real Madrid. Jérémy did his job well and won the French championship twice becoming a part of the symbolic squad of the championship of 2004/05 and 2007/08. Having spent 246 games for the French side he decided to change the club and move to Spain on June 11, 2011 signing for Malaga. Jérémy got a bad injury on March 21, 2012 that left him out of the squad for the rest of the season. Before the trauma he had spent 36 games for the Spanish side.
In the summer 2013 Toulalan returned to France and joined an ambitious side Monaco.
Jérémy made his debut for the national team of France in October of 2006 against Faroe Islands. Through his career as an international he has made 36 appearances for the national team of France.
