Jermaine Lloyd Pennant is a winger, born on 15 January 1983 in Nottingham, England.
Jermaine went in for football at the age of ten, inspired by his father. The future player started with the academy of local Notts County. Later Pennant officially joined the main team and spent one year there before moving to Arsenal in 1999. The winger performed for ‘The Gunners’ during six years till 2005 and managed to play on loan at Watford, Leeds United and Birmingham City, which secured Jermaine’s services on permanent basis for one more season. After his spell with ‘Blues’, the footballer transferred to Liverpool and performed for the new club during three years. In 2009 Pennant joined Real Zaragoza on a free transfer. In 2010 the management sent him on a four-month loan to Stoke City, where the winger stayed on continuing basis after the end of his spell. In January 2014 Pennant was released from the squad.
From 2001 till 2004, Jermaine was capped 24 times for the England national U-21 team.
