Jiang Ning was born on 1 September 1986 in Qingdao, China. He went in for football in his childhood. When Jiang was eleven, he joined the youth academy of Qingdao Jonoon where he spent seven years playing for different junior squads of the club.
In 2004 Ning started his professional career. In May 2004 the footballer made his senior debut and scored his first professional goal. During the season Jiang was trying to establish himself within the team. In spite of the fact that the young footballer almost always came on only as a substitute, he featured in 17 games and showed his worth. Later Jiang became an integral part of the team and gained prestige among his club-mates. The footballer took part in 149 matches for Qingdao Jonoon and notched 35 goals.
In July 2009 Jiang was invited to a trial with Russian side Moscow and took part in several training session. Miodrag Božović, the head coach of the team, gave the player’s potential a positive evaluation. Though the transfer didn’t take place, it’s quite possible that Jiang Ning will move to the Moscow club in the future.
In 2011 Jiang Ning transferred to Guangzhou Evergrande. Nowadays he plays for another outfit from the city of Guangzhou, R&F as a striker. In 2007 Jiang Ning was capped for the China national U-23 team and participated in the 2007 Lunar New Year Cup and the 2007 Toulon Tournament. Since 2008 the footballer has been playing for the China national team where he has featured in 25 matches. On 21 January 2009 Ning netted his first international goal against Vietnam.
