Joackim Jørgensen is a midfielder, born on 20 September 1988 in Yven, Norway. Jørgensen is known as a skilled deep-lying playmaker.
In 1996 Joackim joined his hometown club Yven, where he was a part of the junior team. In 2002 Jørgensen moved to Borg Fotball. In 2007 he signed a professional agreement with the Norwegian club Sparta Sarpsborg, which name was later changed to Sarpsborg 08. Joackim was one of the key players at Sarpsborg 08, when the team gained a promotion to Tippeligaen in 2010. During his 2007-2011 stay at Sarpsborg Joackim made 93 appearances and scored 13 goals. In 2008 Jørgensen was loaned out to Lørenskog for a year, where he featured in 12 matches and netted 2 goals.
In November 2011 Jørgensen was transferred to Elfsborg for a fee of around €0.6 million. In 2014 Jorgensen moved to Viking Stavanger.
