A Welsh footballer Joseph Christopher Ledley was born on 23 January 1987.
In 2004, Joe signed for Cardiff City and his professional career started off. Before his first pro contract was penned, the footballer studied at the club’s academy. The 2006/2007 season was lined with the Football League goal of the season award for the goal netted to Barnsley.
In October 2007, Ledley’s contract with Cardiff was extended for another two seasons. The player became the team’s captain and his fabulous performances brought him the Championship footballer of the month award for January. On 18 August 2009, Joe made his 200th appearance for the squad.
In the summer 2010, a four-year contract was penned with Celtic. Ledley debuted for the Scottish club on 28 July 2010.
Having made 157 apperances for the Scottish giants, Ledley moved to a London club Crystal Palace in January 2014.
Joe Ledley’s the runner-up of the 2008 FA Cup and the 2010 Football League Championship plays-off. In 2011, he was honored with the Scottish Cup and the 2011/2012 season was lined with two Scottish League Cups.
