Johan Cavalli is a French midfielder who plays for AC Ajaccio.
He began his professional career playing in such French clubs as FC Lorient and US Créteil-Lusitanos in between 2001 and 2004. In 2004, he moved to Spain to join Real Mallorca reserve team. But Cavalli’s career really took off at FC Istres in 2005 where he played 51 games during two successful seasons.
On the deadline of the 2007 January transfer window, Johan signed for the English club Watford on a free transfer from Istres. He debuted in the game against West Ham United on 10 February 2010.
On 18 October 2007, it was announced that the footballer signed a two-year contract with the Belgian club Mons. In 2008, he moved to Nîmes Olympique.
Johan moved to AC Ajaccio in the summer of 2010, when the club was promoted to Ligue 1. His first appearance for the club was on the opening day of the season. The midfielder played 77 minutes in the match against FC Toulouse. Next weekend Cavalli became the key player and performed for 78 minutes on the field in a spectacular match against FC Lion.
