Johann Ramaré was born on 5 June 1984 in Rennes. He is a French midfielder, who plays for Brest from Ligue 2.
Johann began his football career in the youth ranks of Mordelles in 1992. In 1997, he changed the club for the youth squad of Stade Rennais. In 2003, Ramaré was promoted to the senior squad playing for the reserves. Overall, he made a total of 78 games and scored one goal for the reserve team. In 2006, he moved to Boulogne, where he played for four years. He was one of the anchor players of the team. In total, he made 122 appearances and amassed 6 goals.
On 26 May 2010, a 26-year-old halfback signed a two-year contract with the French side Reims. He didn’t clinch straight into the starting line-up and the entire first season spent on the bench as a sub. In a year, things had changed for the better and Johann made his debut appearance for the club. Since then, he came on the field 13 times before moving to Brest in 2013.
