The German midfielder Johannes Flum was born on December, 14 1987 in Waldshut-Tiengen. He currently represents Eintracht Frankfurt.
Flum began his career in an amateur team TuS Weilheim. After that he moved to SV 08 Laufenburg where stayed till 2001. The player managed to attract attention of FC Freiburg managers and soon became a member of this German club. During 5 seasons there he fielded for all junior teams, yet there came no invitation to the main squad. However, at that time Flum managed to gain his first title – his team won junior German championship. His next step was a transfer to SC Pfullendorf and performance in the Regionalliga. These were the first matches of Johannes as of a professional footballer. He spent 2 years (till 2008) playing for the outfit and made 49 appearances scoring 2 times. In 2008 Flum at last moved to the senior squad of Freiburg for the transfer fee of €30.000. He made his debut in the 1st round of the Bundesliga in season 2008/09. In April 2011 the footballer extended his contract with the team till July, 30 2014. On March, 20 2010 Flum kicked his 1st goal in Bundesliga in the game against Mainz.
Flum switched to Eintracht Frankfurt in May 2013.
Johannes has already started his international career. In April 2008 the player was for the first time called up to play for the German national U-20 team. He took part only in two matches but didn’t manage to power in. However, the managers trusted him the place in the team despite the fact he hadn’t shown any significant results on the position of defending midfielder.
