John Alberto Fernando Andres Luigi Olof Guidetti is a Swede, born in 1992. He came through the youth systems of Brommapojkarna, Impala Bromma Boys, Mathare Youth Sports Association, Ligi Ndogo, after that he stayed with Brommapojkarna and then he moved to Manchester City, where he was a part of the U18 team. In 2010 he was loaned to his former team Brommapojkarna and in the summer of 2010 Guidetti went on the US tour with Manchester City first team. In November 2010 he was loaned to Burnley and in January 2011 he returned back to Manchester City.
In July 2011 he signed contract with City for three more years and at the end of the summer transfer window Guidetti was loaned to Feyenoord. There he made his debut on 11 September in the match against NAC Breda and throughout his season there he scored 20 goals in 23 league matches he played for Feyenoord. Guidetti returned to City and penned a three-year contract with them on 18 October 2012.
In the half of 2013/2014 season Guidetti was loaned to Stoke City.
John Guidetti represented the Sweden U17, U19 and U21 teams before he joined the senior squad in 2012, making his debut in the math against Croatia, where he featured as a substitute.
