Johnnie Jackson is a midfielder of Charlton Athletic. He was born on 15 August 1982 in Covent Garden, England.
In 1999, Johnnie started to perform for Tottenham on professional basis. The footballer made rare appearances for the club and was often asked to play on loan. In 2002, Jackson was sent to Swindon Town and netted one goal in 13 fixtures for the team during one season. At the beginning of 2003, Jackson sealed a temporary deal with Colchester United, where he featured in eight matches during six months.
In the summer 2003, the midfielder went on loan to Coventry City and fired two goals in five games for the club. In 2004, Johnnie penned a temporary contract with Watford, where he made 15 appearances before being sent to Derby County.
In 2006, the footballer put pen to paper of a contract with Colchester United on permanent basis and amassed 13 goals in 107 fixtures for the team during three years. In 2009, Jackson transferred to Notts County and was immediately sent on loan to Charlton Athletic, where he managed to show impressing performance and gain the head coach’s confidence. In the summer 2010, ‘The Addicks’ secured the midfielder’s services on permanent basis and saw him score 29 goals in 81 games as of November 2012.
