A Brazilian footballer Joílson Rodrigues Macedo plays as a right back for Atlético Clube Goianiense. He was born on 7 July 1979 in Rio de Janeiro.
Joílson has a very rich experience in playing for various clubs. His professional career started off in 1999, when a contract was penned with América. He spent 3 seasons with the Brazilian team and moved to Estrela do Norte. Nevertheless, a year later, the footballer opted to return to his former club. He didn’t stay there for longer than few months as he was scouted by Tombense. Whilst representing the club, Macedo was loaned several times. From 2004 until 2009, the player played for squads of such clubs as Cruzeiro, Cabofriense, Botafogo, São Paulo and Grêmio.
In 2010, the management of Grêmio offered the player a contract on the permanent basis and he took the proposal. The following year a new contract with Boavista was signed. Hardly had Joílson entered the first team, when he was loaned to Figueirense. He had made one appearance for the squad before another loan followed. That time, the right back joined Atlético Goianiense. He’s already featured in more than 15 matches for the temporary team.
