Jonathan Hogg is a midfielder of Huddersfield Town. He was born on 6 December 1988 in Middlesbrough, England.
In 1997, Jonathan joined the academy of Middlesbrough, where he started to develop his skills and raise the level of his performance. Year by year, the footballer was getting more confident, which drew the attention of various English youth system. Aston Villa beat off the competition for Hogg from its rivals and offered the midfielder a move to their side. Jonathan accepted the offer and spent five years with the new club, which helped him to get ready for a senior start.
In 2009, the footballer penned his first professional contract and made six appearances for ‘The Villans’ till he was sent on loan to Darlington. Hogg netted one goal in five fixtures for the club and sealed a six-month loan deal with Portsmouth in 2011. The midfielder featured in 19 matches and left both ‘Pompey’ and his parent Aston Villa.
In the summer 2011, Jonathan sealed a deal with Watford. The footballer became a regular at once and made 78 appearances for the new team during two seasons.
In the summer 2013 he joined Huddersfield Town.
