Jonny Magallón. Biography

Jonny Magallón is a Mexican defender. He was born on 21 November 1981 in Ocotlán, Mexico.

Magallón spent his entire youth career with Tapatío. From 2000 to 2002 Jonny was part of Tapatío which prepares young footballers to play in the first squad of Guadalajara. During two seasons Magallón made 86 appearances and netted 4 goals for Tapatío.

In 2003 Jonny joined Guadalajara. Soon the footballer secured his starting eleven position and became one of the team leaders which allowed him to be selected for the Mexico natonal football team. Since 2007 the defender has featured in more than 50 games for the national squad.

In 2012 Jonny Magallón signed for Club León.
