Jordan Obita is a midfielder of Reading. He was born on 8 December 1993 in Oxford, England.
In 2010 Jordan penned his first contract with Reading after graduating from the academy of the club. Obita trained with the main team during a year and a half, but he did not manage to make any appearances.
That situation made Reading management think about the footballer’s future and the decision to send him on loan was the best way out. In January 2012, Jordan moved to Barnet for several months and made five appearances before completing a move to Gillingham. The midfielder took part in six matches and netted three goals for the new temporary club during his spell.
In August 2012, the footballer went on loan to Portsmouth.
From 2010 till 2011, Obita was capped seven times and contributed one goal for the England national U-18 and U-19 teams.
