Jordi Amat Maas is a Spanish central defender of Swansea City and the Spanish youth national squad.
The very first club of the player was RCD Espanyol. Jordi made his first main squad appearance for the native club in January 2010 in a match against Mallorca. The footballer took the pitch six minutes from time. Before the season was over Jordi had been used by the manager six more times with four in the starting line-up. The 2010/11 campaign was spent with 28 games out of which 24 were played from the start to the end.
In 2012/2013 season Amat was loaned to La Liga rivals Rauo Vallecano. Upo his return from the loan run the player was sold to Swansea City.
Jordi was capped to youth national teams of Spain of every age since he was 15. Being a part of the squad, he reached the semi-final of the U-17 World Cup eventually coming third in the tournament. The defender made his debut in the U-21 team on September 1, 2011 in the World Cup qualifier against Georgia.
