Jordi Figueras Montel, also known as Jordi, is a centre back for Real Betis. He was born on 16 May 1987 in Lleida, Spain.
Jordi started his football grooming with the hometown club UE Lleida. In 2005 he moved to the second reserve team of Real Madrid. After three unsuccessful years, Montel signed for Celta de Vigo, where he initially was assigned to the reserves but in 2009 became a constant member of the first team.
In February 2010 Jordi was purchased by Russian side FC Rubin Kazan for €850,000. His debut came on 14 March when he appeared on the pitch from the 1st minute. On 25 August 2010 the footballer went on a season-long loan to Real Valladolid. In the summer of 2011 Montel was sent out on loan again, this time to Rayo Vallecano. In January 2012 the Spanish switched clubs again signing for Club Brugge. In 2013 Jordi went for a loan spell with Rayo Vallecano again.
Since the summer 2013 the Spaniard has featured for Real Betis.
Together with the team he finished runner-up in the 2011/12 Belgian Pro League.
