Jordi López is a Spanish midfielder who represents Hoverla Uzhhorod. He was born on 28 February 1981 in Granollers, Spain.
In his teenage years Jordi trained at Barcelona. From 1998 to 2002 he played for the youth squad, later being promoted to the reserves. In 2002 López joined Real Madrid B, where he made 70 outings and scored 6 goals. Jordi also took part in 2 games for the first team, but didn’t establish himself as a first-team regular at Real.
In 2004 Jordi López completed a move to Sevilla. During his 2004-2006 stay at Sevilla he participated in 37 matches and scored 2 goals. He also helped the club to win the UEFA Cup in 2006.
From 2006 to 2008 López played for Mallorca and enjoyed a loan spell at Racing. In 2009 Jordi moved to the English side QPR, but joined Swansea City shortly after. Due to limited first-team opportunities, Jordi terminated his contract with the club and signed for the Dutch side Vitesse. In 2011 the midfielder joined OFI Crete, where he featured in 24 matches during the 2011/2012 season.
In 2012 Jordi López signed a contract with Hoverla Uzhhorod.
