Jordon Mutch is a midfielder of Cardiff City. He was born on 2 December 1991 in Alvaston, Derby, England.
Jordon’s youth career took off in the academy of Derby County, where the footballer performed for various junior squads at the position of a midfielder. Mutch possessed all the necessary qualities to become a workmanlike player, which helped him to draw the attention of Birmingham City and earn an invitation to their youth system in 2007. It took Jordon one year to perfect his skills and get ready for a professional start.
In 2008, the footballer penned his first senior contract with the club, but faced high competition for a place in the starting line-up. The following year, he went on loan to Hereford United and made three appearances for the team during six months. In January 2010, Mutch sealed a temporary deal with Doncaster Rovers and fired two goals in 17 fixtures during his spell.
In the summer 2010, the midfielder was sent on loan to Watford, where he found the net five times in 23 matches during the 2010/2011 season. After returning to his parent Birmingham City, Jordon took his tally to two goals in 24 games by the summer 2012, when he put pen to paper of a three-year contract with Cardiff City.
From 2007 till 2011, the footballer featured in eight matches for the England national U-17, U-19 and U-20 squads. From 2011, Mutch has been capped one time for the national U-21 team.
