Jordy Clasie is a midfielder of Feyenoord. He was born on 27 June 1991 in Haarlem, Netherlands.
Clasie’s professional début came, when he helped Excelsior in the home 3-2 victory over Feyenoord on 15 August 2010. Jordy made 32 appearances and netted two goals for the club during the 2010/2011 season.
The following season the footballer completed a move to Feyenoord on a four-year deal and continues to perform for the Rotterdam side team at the position of a defensive midfielder. Clasie’s first appearance for the new squad came in the friendly against Málaga, which ended in a 2-0 loss. Due to his professionalism and diligence, Jordy soon won the hearts of Feyenoord fans. The Dutchman featured in 33 games and found the net three times for the club during two seasons.
In November 2011, the player was invited to the Netherlands national U-21 team. In February the following year, head coach of the senior squad Bert van Marwijk noticed the promising midfielder and included him into the roster for Euro 2012, but Clasie did not come on the field.
