Jorge Alonso Martín is a Spanish football player currently playing for Racing Santander as a midfielder.
He was born in 1985 in Salamanca, Spain, and started his playing career in Salamanca’s reserve team. Then he went on playing for the first team and made 113 appearances during four years in Salamanca.
In 2009 he joined Hércules for one season.
There were speculations that Sevilla FC had an eye on him, but the deal wasn’t completed and in 2010 he signed contract with Real Valladolid for three seasons. Nevertheless, in 2012 he moved to Racing Santander.
He was a part of the Spain Under-18 national team, where he earned 3 caps.
