Jorge Iván Estrada is a Mexican defender. He was born on 16 October 1983 in Culiacán, Mexico.
Jorge started his youth career at the academy of his hometown club Dorados. In 2004 the young footballer made it to the main team. Soon the club was promoted to the first flight, and in 2004 Estrada made his Liga MX debut. During the next two years Jorge was a regular squad member.
In 2006 Dorados was relegated from the top division, and Estrada transferred to Veracruz. The defender failed to secure a place in the first squad, that’s why he completed a move to Santos Laguna in 2007. In the first season Jorge was voted the Best Centre Back of the Liga MX. A year later he celebrated the victory in the Mexican championship. In 2010 Santos Laguna was the runner-up of the Bicentenario, and the Mexico football association named Estrada the Best Full Back of the tournament.
After a brief spell with Pachuca in 2013, Estrada joined Tigres UANL.
