A Spanish footballer Jorge Luque García performs as a midfielder for Elche FC. Jorge was born on 8 March 1981 in Córdoba, Andalusia.
Luque spent the last years of his junior career at the youth department of Sevilla. After he’d graduated from the academy, he joined the club’s B team and his senior career began. He spent two seasons performing for the reserves. He appeared 18 times during the spell.
In 2002, Jorge signed for Mérida, where he managed to make a full-scale start. The 2002/2003 season was lined with two balls netted in 33 matches. In 2003, the midfielder joined Alicante. He managed to produce a solid performance during his debut season and his contract was extended for the following two years. Altogether, Luque appeared 95 times and scored 6 goals.
In the summer 2006, Jorge became the official member of Xerez. The footballer managed to display a good game at the club, despite the fact that he got far less playing time than he used to get in the previous years. In total, he racked up five goals in 65 fixtures.
In the summer 2009, a move to Córdoba happened. Jorge stayed at the club until 2011 making frequent appearances for the first team. Altogether, he made 65 appearances and amassed four goals. In the summer 2011, the midfielder’s contract was bought out by Elche. His debut season at the club was lined with 23 appearances made.
