Jorge Molina Vidal is Spanish football player who currently plays for a Spanish side Real Betis on a position of a striker.
This footballer started to play on a top level quite late. When Jorge was still 23 he was a player of such Tercera clubs as Alcoyano, Benidorm, Gandía. In 2005 he moved to the second league and now plays in Spain’s top division.
He made his first professional appearance in the season 2007/08 for a club Polideportivo Ejido in the Segunda. However his performance for this club didn’t continue long as the club suffered painful relegation regardless the player’s efforts in 30 league games with five goals. On October 29, 2008 Jorge managed a fabulous hat-trick in a match against Villarreal CF in the Copa del Rey tournament.
In the summer of 2009 Molina confirmed his transfer to a second-divisioner Elche where he had a prolific season. This lifted him to the highest position in the top-scorers ranking with a stunning record of 26 goals.
On June 29, 2010 Molina joined an Andalusian side Real Betis that also played in the second division having put his signature under a four-year agreement.
There Molina managed to overcome the mark of ten goals during a season regardless the three-month period when he was sidelined because of a knee injury. On January 19, 2011, Jorge netted twice against Barcelona thus putting a spectacular end to Barça’s impressive unbeaten series of 28 games.
The trio of Jorge Molina, Rubén Castro and Achille Emana helped to regain the team their top flight position after two years in the Segunda with 50 goals. Aged 29 Molina made his first appearance being allowed to play 30 minutes against Granada. His first goal in La Liga came in a 1-4 loss to Real Madrid on October 15, 2011.
