José Antonio Dorado Ramírez (also known as Chechu) is a Spanish central defender playing for Villarreal in the Spanish Segunda. He was born on 10 July 1982 and spent his football education period in academies of such clubs as Córdoba and Real Zaragoza.
Having signed for Zaragoza’s reserves he played there for about four years until he moved to Lleida in 2004. He made 79 league appearances throughout three seasons thus claiming himself as a mature footballer and solid starter.
Chechu decided to move to Huesca in 2007. There he was even more frequently used by the team’s manager as he made 119 appearances and scored once. After three seasons for the Aragonese squad he moved to Andalusia signing for Seville outfit Real Betis. Since the very first game in 2010 the player maintained his position as an undisputed starter making 73 La Liga appearances and scoring thrice. In 2013 he moved to Segunda side Villarreal.
