Josh Wright is a midfielder of Millwall. He was born on 6 November 1989 in Bethnal Green, England.
In 2007, Josh started to perform professionally for Charlton Athletic. The footballer was a trainee of the club’s academy, and the coaching staff knew his skills and potential. However, after making only two appearances for the team, Wright went on loan to Barnet, where he netted one goal in 32 fixtures during the 2007/2008 season. In 2008, the midfielder sealed a temporary deal with Brentford and featured in five games for the club before completing a loan move to Gillingham, where he took part in five matches as well.
In the summer 2009, Josh put pen to paper of a contract with Scunthorpe United and got an opportunity to show his talent during the début season, which earned him a regular spot in the starting line-up for the following year. The footballer made 71 appearances for the team during two seasons and transferred to Millwall in the summer 2011. He fired one goal in 30 fixtures for ‘The Lions’ as of January 2013.
From 2005 till 2007, Wright featured in 14 games for the England national U-16, U-17 and U-18 squads. From 2007, the midfielder has been capped four times for the national U-19 team.
