Juan Cuadrado is a striker of Fiorentina. He was born on 26 May 1988 in Necocli, Colombia.
Juan started his youth career in Atletico Uraba. He had been fostered there for several years until he was scouted by the academy of Independiente Medellin.
In 2008 Cuadrado penned his first professional career with Independiente Medellin. His debut season was good enough as he managed to become a constant guest of the starting eleven making 30 appearances and scoring twice.
In 2009 the Colombian was scouted by Udinese from Italian Serie A. After the short period of negotiations the contract was signed. But the start of Juan’s European career wasn’t a success. Mostly he had to cope with the role of bench player and made only 20 appearances during 2 seasons.
Juan Cuadrado was loaned to Lecce for 2011/12 season. In the summer 2012 the player joined Fiorentina first on loan terms and later on permanent basis.
Since 2010 Cuadrado is the player of Colombian national team.
