Juan Daniel Forlín is a central defender born in Argentina currently playing for Al Rayyan.
Forlín is a product of Boca Juniors youth ranks. He made his debut for Boca on April 19, 2008 in a 2-1 victory over Newell’s Old Boys. The footballer became an integral part of his club’s defensive line during his very first season for the club as they won the Apertura title.
Forlín signed a full-fledged contract with a Spanish club Espanyol together with his teammate Facundo Roncaglia on August 25, 2009. By that time Juan had taken the pitch for Boca in 37 games.
The first match for the new club took place on 12 September when Espanyol faced Real Madrid. In the next tour he managed to score his first goal for the side. The first season for Espanyol he spent gaining 24 appearances with 11 yellow cards and one red card.
During that season Juan playing under the management of his compatriot Mauricio Pochettino somewhat diversified his professional set of skills. He performed quite successfully on a position of a defensive midfielder for his side during several games. All in all Forlín made 106 appearances for Espanyol in La Liga during four seasons. In 2013 he moved to Qatar joining Al Rayyan.
