Juan Miguel Jiménez López (or simply Juanmi) is a Spanish striker who plays for Racing Santander on loan from Málaga CF.
He used to play for Málaga since his early years. His first start came in a game of the Copa del Rey tournament against Getafe on January 13, 2010. The rival was smashed in that match and Juanmi, aged 16 at that time, became the youngest player to ever score for the club. Four days later he made his first start in La Liga in a home match against the same rival.
On March 27, 2010 Juanmi made a lovely equalizing assist to Apoño in a drawn match against Tenerife. Though his team escaped relegation only in the last games of the season Juanmi was still entrusted to a place on the pitch that allowed him to spend 110 playing minutes in the last 5 games of the season. On August 5 he signed his first professional contract that linked him with the Andalusian side till the season 2014/15.
On September 12, 2010 Juanmi was among those who started the game against Real Zaragoza. He scored twice in 20 minutes of the game thus becoming the youngest player to score a double for Málaga.
After the signing of Ruud van Nistelrooy Juanmi stopped enjoying the confidence of the manager so his next appearance came on December 11, 2011 as a substitute in a drawn game against Osasuna where he managed to equalize the score. In 2013 he was sent on loan to Segunda side Racing Santander.
