Juhani Ojala is a Finnish defender currently playing for the Russian Premier League side Young Boys. He was born on 19 June 1989 in Vantaa, Finland.
Juhani is a product of VJS youth system. In 2008, he signed his first professional contract with HJK but played exclusively for their reserve squad called Klubi 04 in the debut 2008/09 season. In 2009, Ojala was promoted to the first team of the club. He shortly established himself as a high-key player of the team and in the 2010/11 campaign Ojala got a regular place in the starting eleven. It was the most successful season for Juhani as he appeared in all games of the club and even was awarded the Defender of the Year title at the end of the season. In the summer 2011, Ojala moved to the Swiss club Young Boys.
In 2013 Ojala moved to Russia and joined Terek Grozny.
Juhani Ojala is capped to the Finland national team since 2011 making his debut in a friendly against Denmark. He announced himself to the international football during the 2012/13 UEFA Europa League group stage game against Liverpool opening the scoring with an own goal and leveling it 2-2 after half time.
