Jules Reimerink is a striker of VVV-Venlo. He was born on 30 September 1989 in Oldenzaal, Netherlands.
Jules’s youth career took off in local Quick’20. After showing encouraging performance, the footballer was invited to the academy of Twente, where he trained during six years. In 2007, Reimerink penned a four-year contract and joined the reserve team of the club. One year later, the striker made his way through to the main team and stayed there during one year before being sent on a one-and-a-half year loan to Go Ahead Eagles.
On 18 January 2009, Jules made his début for the temporary club in the 0-1 loss to Zwolle. Soon after his first appearance, the footballer was injured and sentenced to six weeks without coming on the pitch. However, Reimerink’s contract was extended for the 2009/2010 season, which turned out to be outstanding for the striker, as he netted four goals in first five matches and was named one of the most talented players in the league.
In 2010 Jules’s services were secured by German side Energie Cottbus, but the footballer broke the deal with the club and put pen to paper of a three-year contract with VVV-Venlo.
Reimerink’s first international appearance came in 2007. The striker was capped ten times for the Netherlands national U-19 team and managed to contribute two goals for it till 2009.
