Julian Schuster was born on April, 15 1985 in Bietigheim-Bissingen, Germany. His family can also be proud of one more professional football player – Julian’s cousin Benedikt Röcker.
The starting point of Schuster’s career was FV Löchgau where little Julian started to train in 1994. In the winter 2004 the footballer moved to VfB Stuttgart where he started to play for the reserve side. His professional debut took place on October, 27 2007 in a match against Bayer Leverkusen. On December, 17 2007 the player signed the contract with VfB Stuttgart valid till 2008.
In 6 month Julian was transferred to the Second Division club SC Freiburg for €150.000. In the season 2008/09 Julian became a first-string player, and on September, 27 he scored his first goal for the team. The squad won 3-0 in the match against Borussia Mönchengladbach. After Heiko Butscher left the club, Julian Schuster was trusted a captain’s armband for the rest of 2011/12 season. In total Schuster participated in more than a hundred matches for the main squad of the outfit and scored 11 goals.
Schuster can be an efficient forward as well as a halfback. Besides, he is a brilliant set-piece striker.
