A Brazilian footballer Júnior César Eduardo Machado plays as a left back for Atlético Mineiro, on loan from Flamengo. He was born on 9 April 1982.
Júnior César started his junior career at the academy of Fluminense in 1999. He spent three years playing for the club’s youth team. In 2001, the young footballer graduated to the senior team and together with the squad won the Campeonato Carioca de Futebol.
In 2005, the footballer ended his Fluminense spell with Santos Laguna move. Playing for the Mexican club Júnior César earned performing experience but gained no awards. In 2006, he returned to Brazil, where he joined Botafogo and won the 2006 Campeonato Carioca de Futebol.
The 2007/2008 season would find him playing again for Fluminense. Júnior César made 63 appearances during the season. In 2009, a three-year contract was penned with São Paulo. The footballer made occasional appearances as the team’s starter. In 2011, a transfer to Flamengo happened. But hardly had the deal was finalized, when the Brazilian left back was loaned out by Atlético Mineiro. He continues to represent the temporary club.
