Junior Godoi plays as a midfielder for FC Metalurh Zaporizhya. Junior was born on 20 September 1978 in São Paulo, Brazil.
During the first stage of his youth career Junior trained at Palmeiras football academy, performing successfully for several academy teams. Thereafter Godoi trained at FC São Paulo academy getting ready to start playing at a professional level.
Although Junior graduated from São Paulo academy, he became a professional football player of FC Palmeiras. A few months later, after having signed the contract, Godoi left the club and moved to FC União Barbarense. The midfielder played one season for FC União Barbarense with mixed success.
In 2004, Junior Godoi got the opportunity to go to Ukraine, where the SC Tavriya Simferopol offered the Brazilian midfielder favorable contract terms. Godoi accepted the offer and remained the key player of the club for the following two seasons, appearing on the field in 70 matches and notching 11 goals.
In the 2006/2007 season, the footballer played for FC Legia Warszawa, where he performed in 13 matches, putting it in the back of the net once. In 2008, Junior returned to Ukraine, signing a professional contract with FC Zorya Luhansk. The midfielder performed for the club for one and a half seasons, managing 14 appearances and 4 goals.
In January 2010, Godoi joined the Brazilian club Vila Nova, where he spent half of the season, performing in 20 matches and scoring 1 goal. Thereafter, the same year Junior moved to Londrina, which he left shortly after, returning to FC Metalurh Zaporizhia. Junior Godoi currently captains FC Metalurh Zaporizhya.
