Juraj Kucka is a midfielder of Genoa football club. He was born on 26 February 1987 in Bojnice, Slovakia.
Juraj started his youth career in 2001 when he joined the football academy of Prievidza. He has been groomed there for one year and then moved to the academy of Radvan. In 2004 Kucka joined Podbrezova academy and year later was ready to give a start to his professional career.
In 2005 the Slovak penned his first professional contract with Podbrezova. The young midfielder took part in 42 fixtures and scored three goals during first two seasons in professional football.
In 2007 Juraj was noticed by many Slovakian clubs and finally put pen to paper of a contract with Ruzomberok and immediately become the starting eleven player there. He appeared on the pitch 48 times and amassed nine goals during two seasons.
In 2009 Juraj received a generous offer from AC Sparta Prague, signed a contract with the club in the summer 2009 and spent two seasons there. He took part in 45 fixtures of the club and fired in 11 goals during that time.
In 2011 Kucka signed a deal with Genoa football club.
Since 2007 to 2008 Kucka made part of Slovakia U-21 national team. From 2008 Juraj is the player of Slovakia national team. He has been capped 21 times and scored one goal.
