Kamoliddin Tajiev is an Uzbek defender who currently represents Jiangsu Sainty. He was born on May 3, 1983 in Uzbekistan.
A determined and tough-tackling defender, he came through Akademiya Tashkent and then joined Uzbek outfit Pakhtakor Tashkent in 2002 to commence his career in football. Four years later, Kamoliddin made a loan move to Sogdiana Jizzakh. His loan stint saw him put in several standout displays. The strong defender totaled 18 appearances and netted one goal. Heading back to Pakhtakor, Tajiev became an invaluable member of the club’s defense. In 2011 he decided to ply his trade in the Chinese Super League and clinched a contract with Jiangsu Sainty.
Since 2007 Kamoliddin Tajiev has been representing the Uzbekistan national team on the international arena.
