Karim Bellarabi was born on 8 April 1990 in Berlin. He is a German footballer of Morocco origin.
Karim’s career took off in Bremen side Huchting and continued in the youth team of city’s main club SV Werder Bremen. The footballer had performed there during six years before joining the FC Oberneuland youth team. At the age of 17 he made his senior début playing for Eintracht Braunschweig. Bellarabi amassed 19 goals in 60 matches of the club at different levels. He first went on to the net of his club’s opponents on 20 August 2010 in the match against Wehen Wiesbaden.
In January 2011 Karim became the player of Bayer 04 Leverkusen, but his career in the new team began with a serious injury and that is why the footballer managed to score his first Bundesliga goal only on 3 March 2012 in the 24th round game against Bayern Munich. Soon Bellarabi made his début in the Champions League, when he was included in the roster for the match versus Barcelona.
In 2013 Bellarabi was loaned to Eintracht Braunschweig.
On 7 October 2010, Karim was capped for the Germany national U-20 team for the first time and immediately went on to the net of Switzerland.
