Kees Kwakman is a Dutch defensive midfielder born on 10 June 1983 in Purmerend, Netherlands.
In 1994, Kees began to play football in the youth team of Volendam, where he had spent nine years before making his first senior appearance. The footballer featured in 69 games and found the net ten times for the club during three years. In 2006, Kwakman transferred to RBC Roosendaal and took part in 70 fixtures for the new team.
This time, the midfielder amassed 12 goals, which helped him to draw the attention of Eredivisie side NAC Breda. After showing stable performance, Kees moved to FC Augsburg and became a regular of the new club. However, after his contract expired, the footballer decided to seal a deal with Groningen, where he made 47 appearances during two seasons.
In the summer 2013 Kwakman joined NAC Breda.
