Keiji Tamada is a Japanese striker born on 11 April 1980 in Urayasu, Japan. He currently plays for the J-League side Nagoya Grampus.
Keiji started to carve out the name for himself at Kashiwa Reysol in 1999. He played there for seven seasons and made a total of 30 goals in 109 league appearances for that time. In 2006, Tamada moved to Nagoya Grampus where he plays today. In 2010, he helped them to win the J. League Division 1 title and in 2011 Tamada recorded the Japanese Super Cup together with the club. Overall, the forward scored 64 goals in 231 matches for Nagoya Grampus in between 2006 and 2012.
Keiji Tamada was a regular international for Japan since 2004 till 2010 amassing 16 goals in 72 appearances. He was part of the national squad who won the AFC Asian Cup in 2004.
