Kenny Steppe is a goalkeeper of Beveren. He was born on 14 November 1988 in Antwerp, Belgium.
Kenny’s career took off in local Germinal Beerschot, but he soon moved to Royal Antwerp. However, the footballer did not stay there for long and returned to his first club, this time to perform for the main team. His senior début came on 3 February 2007 in the away 2-1 loss to RAEC Mons. The 2007/2008 season was very fruitful for the Steppe, as he managed to keep a clean sheet during six matches and was voted the third best Belgian goalkeeper (after Olivier Renard and Stijn Stijnen).
During his career in Belgium, Kenny made 34 appearances and conceded 33 goals.
On 29 August 2008, the footballer penned a contract with Dutch side Heerenveen till 30 June 2013 and got number 1 shirt. His début for the new club came on 29 October 2008 in the home 3-0 loss to Vitesse. Steppe suffered from a back injury during a long period of time, but he managed to recuperate and become a first-choice goalkeeper. All in all, Kenny featured in 14 games and made a lot of fine saves during five years with Heerenveen.
At the end of 2012/2013 season the keeper returned to Belgium and joined Waasland-Beveren.
