Kévin Gameiro was born on 9 May 1987 in Senlis (France). That French footballer plays as a striker at Sevilla and also represents the France national football team.
He started to practice football at the age of 8 at ES Marly-la-Ville that was not far from his native city. When Kévin was 13 years old he found himself at US Chantilly where a young footballer was noticed by Strasbourg scouts. In 2002 Gameiro became a permanent player of Alsatian youth team.
As a major team player the striker made debut in September 2005. He scored his first league goal in February 2006 in the match against RC Lens. The same season the footballer managed to stand out during the UEFA Cup in December 2005: Kévin appeared in 3 matches scoring 2 goals both in the match against Red Star Belgrade.
In July 2008 the football player moved to FC Lorient where during the first season netted 11 goals. The following season Gameiro with 17 goals became the second striker in Ligue 1 after Mamadou Niang.
In June 2011 the French player joined Paris Saint-Germain FC after signing a 4-year contract. He scored the first goal for the club in the league match against Rennes in August 2011. Gameiro featured 59 times for the side and scored 19 goals during two seasons, but was forced to leave the club after Edinson Cavani joined Zlatan Ibrahimovic in the attacking line in the summer 2013.
Kévin Gameiro played for the France national youth teams at different levels. His debut for the youth team took place in September 2010.
