Kevin McNaughton is a defender of Cardiff City. He was born on 28 August 1982 in Dundee, Scotland.
Kevin started his professional performance in Scottish side Aberdeen in 1999, when he penned his first senior contract with the club and joined the main squad. The footballer managed to clinch a key spot almost at once and became one of the most promising players in the league, but suffered a minor slump in his form in the 2000/2001 season and paid for that with his regular practice. However, McNaughton regained the head coach’s trust and took his tally to three goals in 176 matches for Aberdeen by 2006.
In the summer 2006, Welsh side Cardiff City lodged a tempting bid for the defender and agreed his signing in a short term. Kevin became a part of ‘The Bluebirds’ and their pivot, who made 279 appearances for the club. Later on he was loaned to Bolton Wanderers.
From 2004, the footballer has taken part in two games for Scotland B. From 2002, he was capped four times for the full national squad.
