Kevin Mirallas is a Belgian footballer who currently plays as a forward for Everton in the English Premier League.
Kevin started out his football grooming at his hometown club Standard Liège in 1999 where he played as a youth for five years. In 2004, he moved to France and signed his first professional contract with Lille. Mirallas shortly proved his worth in the first team and featured in the UEFA Cup already in the debut season with the club. In 2008, a promising striker joined Saint-Étienne where he enjoyed even better fortune. But his career really took up steam when Mirallas signed for the Greek side Olympiacos in 2010.
The Belgian player made his debut for the club in the UEFA Europa League qualifier against KS Besa Kavaje. He cut a brilliant figure scoring the only goal in a 1-2 loss to their arch rivals Panathinaikos in the Derby of the eternal enemies. Mirallas pulled off the 2010/11 season as the club’s top scorer with 14 goals. For his two-year spell at Olympiacos he became the Greek Super League champion twice and finished as the Super League Greece Top Scorer with 20 goals in 2012.
In August 2012, Mirallas transferred to Everton for a fee of £6 million. He made his first substitute appearance in Everton’s shirt in a 3-1 win over Aston Villa and played as a starter in a 5-0 victory over Leyton Orient where he scored a brace.
Kevin Mirallas was an international for Belgium at various age levels amassing all in all 48 appearances and 21 goals for the youth teams. Since 2007, he is capped to the senior Belgium side.
