Kevin Nolan is a midfielder of West Ham United. He was born on 24 June 1982 in Liverpool, England.
The footballer spent his youth career in several English academies, but the last years fell on the youth system of Bolton, to where Nolan came in 1997 after a successful trial. Kevin had to raise the level of his play and several skills so that to get to the main team of the club and begin the senior performance. It took the midfielder two years to reach the required level and he penned his first contract in 1999.
From 1999, the footballer performed as an anchor player for the club, but that did not happen at once. At first, Nolan made occasional appearances on the pitch and gained necessary and priceless experience. During a couple of years, Kevin managed to develop into a confident attacking midfielder, who was able both to make positive display and to score a lot of goals. The footballer featured in 296 matches and amassed 40 goals for Bolton during ten years.
In 2009 Nolan ended his ‘Trotters’ spell with Newcastle United move. ‘The Magpies’ welcomed the new player into their starting squad, where he managed to become a regular in a rather short term. Kevin continued to increase his goal tally even more actively he had done it before. The footballer fired 29 goals in 85 games for the club and his transfer cost on the market rose due to his splendid performance and high level of professionalism.
In 2011 London side West Ham United secured Nolan’s services by sealing a long-term deal with him. Being the ace of football, Kevin became the pivot of the midfield and found the net 12 times in 43 matches during the 2011/2012 season.
From 2002 till 2004, the player was capped two times for the England national U-21 squad.
