Kevin Stuhr Ellegaard is a Danish goalkeeper who currently plays for Elfsborg. He was born on May 23, 1983 in Copenhagen, Denmark.
Kevin began his professional career at Manchester City in 2002. From 2002 to 2005 he registered 12 appearances for the English club. He also spent one month at Blackpool on loan.
In 2005 Ellegaard switched to the German side Hertha. During his 2005-2007 stay at Hertha Kevin was a part of the reserve squad predominantly. In 2007 Ellegaard signed for the Danish club Randers, where he played until 2010. During his stay at Randers the goalkeeper featured in 95 matches for the side.
In 2010 Ellegaard completed a move to Heerenveen. From 2010 to 2011 he made 28 appearances. On 23 January 2012 the goalkeeper penned a 3-year contract with Elfsborg.
From 1998 to 2006 Kevin played for the youth teams of Denmark. He participated in 20 games for the Denmark U21 team squad, including his appearances in the UEFA U-21 Championship 2006. In 2007 Ellegaard was called up to the senior national squad.
