Kevin Thomson is a midfielder, born on 14 October 1984 in Edinburgh, Scotland.
In 2000, Kevin joined the academy of Coventry City and spent one year there before being invited to the youth system of Hibernian. The footballer managed to perfect his skills and get ready for a professional start by 2003, when he was offered to pen his first senior contract with the club.
The head coach gave Thomson a chance to show his talent, but the midfielder failed to become a regular in his début season. However, Kevin trained hard and eventually got more playing time, which helped him to net two goals in 80 games during four years.
In 2007, the footballer completed a move to Rangers and started to make occasional appearances for the new team. Thomson had to face high competition for a place in the starting line-up, and the management usually used him as a sub. The midfielder took part in 71 fixtures and fired two goals for the club during three years.
In the summer 2010, Kevin transferred to English side Middlesbrough, which saw him make 56 appearances for the club.
From 2013 to 2014 Thomson played for Hibernian. Later on he signed for Dundee.
In 2007, the footballer featured in two games for Scotland B. From 2008 to 2010, Thomson was capped three times for the senior national squad.
