Kieran Trippier is a defender of Burnley. He was born on 19 September 1990 in Bury, England.
In 2003, Kieran managed to show confident performance and wonderful vision of the field during a trial at Manchester City academy, which impressed the coaching staff and became a forcible argument for his admission. It took the footballer five years to get ready for a professional start. In 2008, he penned his first senior contract with ‘The Citizens’, but failed to make any appearances for the club during four years.
In 2010, Trippier went on loan to Barnsley and took part in three fixtures for the team during six months. However, the management of the temporary team decided to extend his spell for the 2010/2011 season and saw him score two goals in 39 games. In the summer 2011, the defender sealed a loan deal with Burnley and fired one goal in 25 matches for ‘The Clarets’ during half a year.
In January 2012, Kieran put pen to paper of a permanent contract with Burnley and found the net two times in 47 fixtures for the club as of January 2013.
From 2007 till 2011, the footballer was capped 18 times for the England national U-18, U-19, U-20 and U-21 squads.
